This essential service safeguards your home against the risks of laundry fires, appliance malfunctions, and water damage. With dryer vent cleaning, you'll experience lower energy costs as your dryer operates at peak efficiency, lasts longer, and dries your clothes faster! This service is recommended to be completed at least once a year.

Thorough assessment of twenty-five vital safety, efficiency, and maintenance aspects. Inspection provides valuable insights into your dryer vent configuration. This inspection is carried out from the laundry room to the exterior dryer vent termination point. Your technician will provide you with recommendations based on the inspection report.

This is the duct that connects the dryer to the main ductwork. Unlike the main ductwork, the transition duct can be made of flexible, semi-rigid material. However, it must be made of heavy metal ductwork that is UL-2158A listed. It should not exceed 8 feet in length and should not extend into concealed or finished spaces. Finally, it must maintain its 4 inch diameter from the dryer to the main duct.

Be aware that thin foil duct, also known as "slinky foil," is considered a fire hazard by most dryer manufacturers. (Note the warning label on the back of your dryer.) It is highly recommended to replace it with a heavy metal duct. Keep in mind that this heavy metal duct is flexible to allow for easy appliance connection and disconnection, but it should not go into the wall, ceiling or floor, or extend beyond eight feet in the laundry room.
